Alchemy of Love | Couture Collection | Label Nishtha Bansal
Alchemy of Love stands where emotions intersect with structure. Rather than being made as a standard collection, Alchemy of Love addresses the complex dualism present within the very nature of love: tenderness and dominance, fragility and strength, and affection and solitude. This collection has been inspired by one of the paintings by Gustav Klimt titled "The Kiss", which turned emotions into sculptures.
The Inspiration - Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss"
Structure comes through the usage of corsetry, which is a key component of the collection. However, its rigidity and preciseness are balanced with satin fabrics, crepes, and other light, flexible materials. Contrast between craftsmanship and compassion becomes the main theme of the collection.
Peony, a trademark three-dimensional motif of the collection, represents grace, luxury and femininity in a discreet way. Instead of just serving an ornamentation function, Peony contributes to the storytelling process.
"Alchemy of Love" was a major artistic milestone for Label Nishtha Bansal at Bombay Times Fashion Week. This event was an art event since the actress Rakul Preet Singh was the showstopper in her magnificent presence at the event. It reflected the artistic and elegance philosophy of the designer Nishtha Bansal.
Each piece from the collection represents an independent artwork. Through hand embroidery, sculpted fit, and perfectly balanced fabrics, Nishtha creates masterpieces that combine the dramatic aesthetics of cinema and the depth of personal emotions.
Ultimately, "Alchemy of Love" collection does not focus on couture alone. It focuses on translating emotions into art.
